Pulver Capital Management is an independent Registered Investment Advisor specializing in the management of investment portfolios for high net worth individuals and family offices.
The firm was founded in 2009 to manage and grow the assets of a select group of investors in a professional family office setting. We value excellence, thoroughness, technical innovation, original thinking, intelligent risk management, a holistic approach to creating and managing wealth and educating the next generation of investors.
Pulver Capital Management provides research, execution, and portfolio management on a par with that of elite financial institutions in a format that provides transparency, liquidity and direct asset ownership.
The firm also works with clients to create solutions to a variety of business and investment issues drawing on our expertise in securities research and trading, portfolio management, private equity investing, management consulting, corporate finance, M&A, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, charitable giving, and generational wealth transfer.

Prior to founding Pulver Capital Management, Daniel spent 15 years in the private equity industry as a Principal at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, the private equity business of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (1990-2000) and later Credit Suisse Group (2001-2005), following Credit Suisse's acquisition of DLJ in 2000. From 2006-2009 Daniel managed Andera Capital, a private equity investor focused on small and mid-cap companies. Daniel is currently a Director of CommVault Systems (Ticker: CVLT) and several private companies. Daniel was previously a Director of Nycomed Pharma, Accellent Inc., NextPharma, BioPartners and Thiemann SA. Daniel holds a B.A. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Prior to founding Pulver Capital Management in 2009, Tanya spent 15 years in the financial services industry in roles including Portfolio Manager of AG Alpha Credit Funds at Angelo Gordon & Co. (2004-2007); Portfolio Manager of Dry Brook Capital Management (2007-2009), which she sold to Citi Alternative Investments in 2008; Executive Director and proprietary trader at Morgan Stanley & Co. (1997-2004); and credit trader at Merrill Lynch (1994-1997). Prior to attending business school, Tanya was a research analyst at L.E.K. Consulting and a strategic planning analyst at The Walt Disney Company. Tanya holds B.S. and B.A. degrees from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar. Tanya serves on the Board of the Slovak-American Cultural Center.
Investment Approach
Pulver Capital Management seeks investments in undervalued companies and securities, focusing on cash flow generation, downside risk and upside opportunity in our analysis. Our portfolio managers are principals--not agents--managing their own money alongside that of their clients. As principals, we think independently. We perform original research on sectors, industries, companies, securities and macro-economic issues, which drives our investment decisions.
